ওঠো। জাগো। বাংলার তরুণ প্রজন্মকে কর্মক্ষম করে তোড়াল পাশাপাশি মানসিকভাবে শক্তিশালী হওয়ার জন্য এই উদাত্ত আহ্বান করেছিলেন বাংলা তথা ভারতের যৌবনের প্রতীক স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ।
তিনি এই প্রথম বাঙালি যিনি বিশ্বের দরবারে বাংলা তথা বাঙ্গালীকে শ্রেষ্ঠত্বের আসনে বসিয়েছিলেন শিকাগো ধর্ম মহাসম্মেলনে।
তবে স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের পথ অনুসরণ করে এরপর থেকে বিশ্বের দরবারে বারে বারে বাঙালির শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব প্রমাণিত হলেও বিবেকানন্দের ইতিহাস আজ আধুনিক বিশ্বের অনেকের কাছেই অজানা।
তাই বাংলা তথা বাঙালির নব যৌবনের দূত স্বামী বিবেকানন্দকে বিশ্বের দরবারে নতুন করে পৌঁছে দিতে এবারে সম্পূর্ণ নতুনভাবে উদ্যোগ নিলেন বিশিষ্ট শিল্পপতি হর্ষ নেওটিয়া।
পরিচালক অভিজিৎ দাশগুপ্তের সঙ্গে হাত মিলিয়ে ইংরেজিতে তৈরি করে ফেলেছেন সম্পূর্ণ একটি ডকু ফিচার।
পাঁচ এপিসোডের এই ইংরেজি ডক ও ফিচার বিবেক-এ সকলে জানতে পারবেন বিবেকানন্দের ছেলেবেলা থেকে শুরু করে শিকাগো ধর্ম মহাসম্মেলনে তাঁর বিশ্বজয়ের ইতিহাস।
পরিচালক অভিজিৎ দাশগুপ্ত জানান, "বর্তমান প্রজন্মের কাছে স্বামী বিবেকানন্দকে আরও বেশি করে পৌঁছে দেওয়া,তাঁর বাণী-দর্শন তরুণ সমাজের মনে যাতে আরও বেশি প্রভাব ফেলে, সহজেই সাধারণ মানুষের মনে দাগ কাটে, সেই উদ্দেশ্যেই মূলত এই ডকু-ফিচার নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে।"
Swami Vivekananda, the iconic spiritual leader, and an eternal source of inspiration across genders, age and culture has always been known for his insightful wisdom and universal teachings. His timeless philosophy has immense relevance even in today’s world. In recognition of the need to introduce his deep insights to the younger generation, renowned Director Abhijit Dasgupta plans to launch a docu-feature film presented by Shri Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Neotia called ‘Vivek’. The latest docu-feature film ‘Vivek’ is based on his previous venture of ‘Naren’ audio-visual series. This ground-breaking feature is set to get launched on the occasion of 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, which also happens to be the National Youth Day of India. This feature will bridge the gap between historical iconography and in-depth comprehension of Swami Vivekananda's teachings, fostering a deeper understanding among today's youth.
১২ জানুয়ারি স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের জন্মদিনে ইউটিউবে মুক্তি পাবে বিবেক নামের এই ডকু ফিচার। ডকু-ফিচারে অভিনয় করেছেন,জয়ন্ত কৃপালানী,হীরক দাস,শ্রেয়সী মজুমদার,শ্রমনা চক্রবর্তী। এর আগেও পরিচালক অভিজিৎ দাশগুপ্ত ঋষি অরবিন্দকে নিয়ে একটি তত্থচিত্র বানিয়েছেন।
অভিনব এই উদ্যোগ প্রসঙ্গে শিল্পপতি হর্ষবর্ধন নেওটিয়া জানান, "স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের জীবন যাপন এবং তিনি যুব সমাজের জন্য যে সমস্ত শিক্ষা দিতে চেয়েছিলেন তা আবার গোটা বিশ্বের যুবসমাজের কাছে তুলে ধরার জন্যেই আমাদের এই উদ্যোগ। অম্বুজা নেওটিয়ার পক্ষ থেকে আমরা বরাবর চেষ্টা করে এসেছি ভারতের যে সমৃদ্ধ শিল্প এবং সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য রয়েছে তা আরো বেশি করে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য যতটা সম্ভব চেষ্টা করা।"
Speaking at the docu-feature film launch, Shri Harshavardhan Neotia expressed his honour to be part of the initiative and said, “The series, with its unique approach, promises to communicate Swami Vivekananda’s profound teachings in an engaging manner.
